Industry Strategy Expert - Health & Life Sciences

Position Overview

Adobe is seeking a dynamic leader to drive strategy, thought leadership, and positioning to grow our Health & Life Sciences segment. As the Industry Strategy Expert, you will develop and present compelling thought leadership to prospects at industry and Adobe conferences/events, as well as in 1:1 customer meetings with senior executives. You will collaborate with sales, product management, and solution consulting to enhance our industry value proposition and coordinate go-to-market strategies. You will also act as an ambassador for Adobe within the Health & Life Sciences industry, partnering with Adobe marketing to raise awareness of Adobe’s capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Adobe’s Point-of-View for Health & Life Sciences:

    • Build a vision and competitive positioning for the industry that resonates with Health & Life Sciences executives.
    • Articulate how Adobe’s Experience Cloud enables key capabilities and use cases, including customer data & analytics, omnichannel personalization, cross-channel journey orchestration, creative content production, and unified measurement.
    • Define what constitutes an exceptional omnichannel experience and customer journey, and outline the tactics required for Healthcare Providers, Pharmaceutical & Biotech Companies, Medical Device & Diagnostics Companies, Health Insurance & Payers, Research & Academia, and others to maximize their digital program ROI.
    • Collaborate with digital strategists, technologists, data scientists, and other specialists to craft a powerful point-of-view.
  • Drive a Coordinated Strategy to Grow the Business:

    • Monitor the performance of the overall Americas business and orchestrate strategy across functions including sales, marketing, pre-sales, customer success, product, professional services, and partners.
    • Engage with sales leaders on go-to-market planning.
    • Partner with marketing teams to amplify industry messaging.
    • Enable the field on positioning Adobe’s capabilities for the Health & Life Sciences sector.
    • Influence product/engineering teams to ensure advanced Health & Life Sciences capabilities and use cases are included in the product roadmap.
    • Align with partners on the delivery of industry solutions.
  • Engage with Senior Executives as a Thought Leader:

    • Develop and present compelling thought leadership to senior executives in customer meetings, CxO roundtables, Adobe conferences, and industry events (e.g., HIMSS).
    • Build C-level relationships, open new doors, speak at conferences, and advise business leaders on achieving success in their omnichannel transformation programs.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience: Proven experience in the Health & Life Sciences industry, either client-side or as a trusted advisor.
  • Vision: Ability to set the vision for digital transformation in the Health & Life Sciences space.
  • Positioning: Skill in positioning Adobe as a key strategic partner for digital transformation initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills for engaging with senior executives.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse internal teams and external partners.
