Requirements

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager for a self-performing Specialty Contractor. Experience managing project financials, including budgets, general conditions, productivity, forecasting, and profit projections is required, along with knowledge of contract management, change orders, and invoices. Familiarity with take-offs, estimates, proposals, bid management, buyout, and contract negotiations is also necessary. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and experience with establishing SOPs or programs and previous training or software support experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Product Consultant will partner with Project Managers and Customer Success Engineers to assess client business processes and strategic goals to maximize Procore software utilization. They will work with Revenue partners to deliver services that assess strategic goals and business processes, creating solutions for client use cases. The role involves collaborating with CS team members to deliver ongoing services for continuous process improvement and long-term value realization, interpreting and consulting on client strategic goals, and synthesizing client business motivations and operations. Responsibilities also include advising on client best practices, providing guidance on SOPs, designing rollout and training strategies, and assisting with rollout execution. The consultant will leverage construction industry knowledge to improve client business processes, provide exceptional service and education through clear communication, and foster a positive team culture by onboarding, training, and mentoring team members. They will collaborate across the organization to develop best practices and drive Procore's market leadership, developing mastery of Procore products, business model, services, emerging technologies, and Customer Success best practices. Travel up to 50% to client sites, industry events, and other Procore offices is expected.
