Strategic Pricing Director

Employment Type: Full-time Location Type: Remote Base Pay Range: $192,000 - $240,000 (Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation)

Position Overview

Procore is seeking a Strategic Pricing Director to join its Corporate Strategy team. This role is pivotal in driving the development and enhancement of Procore's monetization strategy, encompassing packaging, pricing model optimization, new pricing model design and implementation, and strategic deal support. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader capable of guiding both strategy design and the execution of new pricing and packaging initiatives. This position reports into the Senior Director, Corporate Strategy.

Responsibilities

• Monetization Strategy: Work cross-functionally with executive leadership to identify new monetization opportunities, develop business cases, and drive revenue outcomes through Procore’s pricing and packaging strategies.
• Packaging Evolution: Lead the evolution of Procore’s packaging for each of our core markets, in partnership with Product leadership.
• Pricing Model Innovation: Design, test, and launch new pricing architectures, including leading recommendations for evolving current pricing models and/or launching new ones.
• Pricing Strategy Development: Lead all aspects of pricing strategy, collaborating with Corporate Strategy, GTM Strategy & Product teams to develop insights and recommendations through customer research, price discovery, ROI testing, and price modeling.
• Data Analysis & Modeling: Develop complex data modeling and financial analysis scenarios to optimize strategies, size potential impacts, and drive decision-making.
• Performance Evaluation: Define and evaluate KPIs to track pricing performance, leveraging this information to determine the effectiveness of pricing strategies and inform recommendations.
• Strategic Deal Support: Partner with Deal Desk and other cross-functional stakeholders to provide pricing expertise on large, complex, strategic deals.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of experienced pricing managers and/or analysts.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience in pricing strategy, strategy consulting, and/or product strategy at a leading B2B software/SaaS company.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience in evaluating, designing, and launching new pricing models and/or packaging strategies in a highly cross-functional environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage evolving priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional data analysis and financial modeling capabilities.
• Ability to develop deep trust-based relationships across different stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to tailor communications to a broad range of internal and external audiences.
• Proven track record managing cross-functional projects.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is highly desirable.
