Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Commerce, Business or Health Care
  • Minimum of 6 years business experience required
  • 5+ years experience in a direct sales environment, National/Key Account experience

Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing JJVC’s Business with assigned head office accounts (National Retailers, GPO’s, and Internet Accounts) with responsibility for attaining sales target and profitability objectives
  • Effectively negotiating with customers to achieve mutual business objectives: Alignment on trade investments including customer programs & promotions, educational events and staff training, sponsorship of conference events
  • Implementing required business initiatives with customers, including price changes
  • Building joint business plans and agreements that align with company strategies and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Working in partnership with Health Care Compliance & Legal to ensure compliance for all customer programs and agreements
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Sales Strategy, Sales Analytics, and Regional Business Managers to build robust customer programs that align with internal strategies, meet current customer & market demands, and deliver on sales targets
  • Providing ongoing communication with Field Sales team that builds alignment with account objectives and focus on priorities
  • Preparing compelling, fact-based and customer focused presentations that clearly highlight opportunities and action plans for customer’s business
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with assigned customers
  • Attending customer events, ECP dinners, industry conventions, and training events
  • Bringing new opportunities to the attention of internal partners (Voice of the customers)
  • Introducing new product innovation and subsequent training for customers
  • Providing monthly, quarterly, year-end sales LE (Latest Estimate) for respective customers
