Requirements

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid Driver’s License (preferred), and have proof of insurance. They should have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and demonstrate a desire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of product and services. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with one year of experience as a store associate or customer service representative. Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and professional communication skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

Store Associates are responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, informing them of BRS products and services, and building relationships. They must drive sales in all departments, replenish and maintain inventory, perform cashier functions, operate scanners and cash registers, and adhere to minor policies while completing customer transactions. Additionally, they will ensure prices and quantities are accurate, process refunds and exchanges, balance register drawers, bag purchases for safe transport, follow proper age verification policies, accept various forms of payment, maintain store cleanliness, assist in promotions and events, and observe BRS vehicle policies and procedure guidelines. They may also be required to deliver items to customers following specific driving routes and schedules, and inform the manager of any vehicle operating condition problems.
