Requirements

  • Advanced subject matter expertise in storage products and solutions
  • Experience in sales roles, particularly as a Sales Specialist or Consultant leading pursuits in assigned focus areas
  • Ability to apply advanced knowledge to solve complex business issues and contribute to new ideas/methods
  • Strong skills in prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing opportunities
  • Capability to collaborate with account managers, presales, channel partners, and other stakeholders
  • Experience working with named accounts, designated geographies, or high-potential competitive accounts
  • Ability to assess solution feasibility from technical and business perspectives
  • Proficiency in driving pipeline hygiene and sales readiness through knowledge transfer
  • Advanced understanding of client business needs, up to C-level for mid-to-large accounts
  • Knowledge of competitors and industry trends to strategically position products/services
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model (average 2 days per week from HPE office) covering Toscana & Liguria regions
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment within broadly defined policies

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory (Toscana & Liguria), industry, or accounts, covering public and private sectors
  • Collaborate with account pursuit teams to leverage solutions expertise for business development
  • Build sales readiness and reduce client learning curve through effective knowledge transfer in storage
  • Contribute to development of quota objectives and future direction for storage product lines
  • Direct and coordinate supporting sales activities related to pipeline hygiene through account managers, presales, channel partners, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate across HPE teams to deliver a consistent approach to developing business, including account planning for end-to-end solutions
  • Assess solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective to determine "qualify-in"/"qualify-out" status
  • Negotiate and drive profitable deals to ensure successful closure and a high win rate
  • Drive sales of the storage portfolio using strong leadership and initiative to prospect, negotiate, and close deals
  • Establish a professional and consultative relationship with clients by achieving an advanced understanding of their unique business needs within the industry, working up to C-level for mid-to-large accounts
  • Leverage advanced knowledge of competitors and industry trends to strategically position the company's products and services
  • Focus on and work with the channel to forge relationships and provide enablement of key technologies
