Requirements

  • Advanced subject matter expertise in storage products and solutions
  • Experience in sales, prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Ability to collaborate with account managers, presales, channel partners, and other stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and initiative to drive sales pipelines and business development
  • Advanced understanding of client business needs, up to C-level for mid-to-large accounts
  • Knowledge of competitors and industry trends to strategically position products
  • Ability to assess solution feasibility from technical and business perspectives
  • Experience directing sales activities and contributing to quota objectives
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model (average 2 days per week in HPE office in North East Italy)
  • Ability to represent the organization to external customers/clients and provide mentoring/guidance

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory, industry, or accounts (North East Italy - Public and Private Sector)
  • Collaborates with account pursuit teams to leverage solutions expertise for business development
  • Builds sales readiness and reduces client learning curve through effective knowledge transfer in storage
  • Contributes to development of quota objectives and future direction for storage product lines
  • Directs and coordinates supporting sales activities related to pipeline hygiene through account managers, presales, channel partners, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborates across HPE teams to deliver consistent approach to developing business, including account planning for end-to-end solutions
  • Assesses solution feasibility from technical and business perspective to determine "qualify-in"/"qualify-out" status
  • Negotiates and drives profitable deals to ensure successful closure and high win rate
  • Drives sales of the storage portfolio, prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Establishes professional and consultative relationship with clients by understanding unique business needs
  • Works with clients up to C-level for mid-to-large accounts
  • Leverages knowledge of competitors and industry trends to strategically position company's products and services
  • Focuses on and works with the channel to forge relationships and provide enablement of key technologies
