Requirements

5–7 years of experience in managing storage systems, data protection, or related IT infrastructure
Hands-on experience with enterprise storage platforms such as Dell PowerMax, NetApp, HPE, Rubrik, Veritas NetBackup, or similar solutions
Strong knowledge of storage protocols (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS) and performance optimization
Understanding of network and cloud storage architectures
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills (German/Italian) are a plus
Team player with a proactive attitude and collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

Administering and maintaining Storage Area Networks (SAN), Network-Attached Storage (NAS), and cloud storage solutions
Monitoring performance, capacity planning, and ensuring data integrity and security
Implementing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans
Troubleshooting storage issues and providing timely resolutions
Collaborating closely with network engineers, database administrators, and other IT teams
Evaluating and recommending enhancements to improve storage and data protection infrastructure
Staying current with latest advancements in storage technologies, cloud computing, and automation tools
