Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of storage & backup infrastructure and experience in architecting and supporting storage and backup solutions for customers, including hands-on experience with NetApp filers, DELL EMC storage systems, SAN, NAS, and Unified storage systems. Extensive knowledge of Veeam Backup and Replication products is required, along with the ability to lead in storage and backup infrastructure and capacity assessments, solution design, and implementation.
Responsibilities
This role involves configuring, upgrading, and setting up master servers, backup gateways, backup proxies, and clients for Veeam Backup and Replication, as well as setting up and administering backup repositories and backend NAS storage solutions. The Storage & Backup Administrator will diagnose and fix issues related to backup and restore, perform restores for various types of data, oversee backup retention strategies, and collaborate with Veeam support regarding backup, restoration, and updates.
