Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of Stop Loss sales experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Life and Health license(s) required in state(s) and/or assigned territory
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
  • Must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) (Minnesota), unless an accommodation is granted as required by law

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and renew Stop Loss sales through brokers and consultants within an assigned territory
  • Assist medical sales teams with selling and renewing bundled stop-loss and ASO accounts as needed
  • Prospect accounts and produce revenue through new and renewal Stop Loss sales
  • Generate stop-loss RFP activity through sales calls to brokers and consultants
  • Develop strategies and utilize selling techniques to acquire new business
  • Solve client needs through consultative and solution-based selling
  • Build relationships with key contacts in territory to identify, develop, and negotiate sales opportunities
  • Handle renewal activity
