Requirements

Voracious learner who loves digging into technical mysteries and has creativity to solve complex technical problems
Ability to build relationships with like-minded teammates, smart customers, and global partners
Knowledge of REST and RESTful APIs
Coding skills (at a minimum, read and troubleshoot code)
Experience with containers, cluster deployment, and management tools like Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and others
Knowledge of web architectures including HTTP
5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role

Responsibilities

Work with top developers from around the world to help implement Kong Products and Technologies including API Gateway and Service Mesh solutions
Lead the investigation of complex technical puzzles and collaborate to understand and resolve customer issues
Create knowledge articles to complement documentation and enable customers to better understand product use cases
Drive innovation within the support team, the company, and with customers by finding better ways to do work, improving tools, and raising the bar on service delivery to Global 5000 customers
Assist Kong customers in resolving complex technical issues in production and pre-production environments
Provide robust feedback and guidance to Product and Engineering teams while being a voice for customers
Strengthen customer and partner relationships with Kong
