Requirements

Candidates should have over 7 years of experience in designing digital products. Full stack design skills are essential, including expertise in UX, design systems, UI, and prototyping. A very strong sense for visual design for UI is required, encompassing layouts, components, design systems, and overall polish. Additionally, the ability to translate ambiguous user needs into effective design solutions is necessary.

Responsibilities

The staff product designer will collaborate with product managers to define the strategic product vision. They will help build out and evolve design philosophies, processes, and culture at Graphite. The designer will explore innovative UX and UI patterns, solve complex technical challenges with creative problem solving, execute on 0-1 feature releases and large product updates, and help identify new business and product opportunities through a strong understanding of capabilities, user needs, and the competitive landscape.
