Requirements

Candidates should possess 8+ years of relevant design experience at a tech, product-driven company, or a design agency, along with a diverse portfolio showcasing engaging and thoughtful examples of product and user experiences. Deep expertise in Product/UX design and strong visual design proficiency and taste are required, as is experience leading design projects end-to-end and designing consumer-facing products on mobile native platforms (iOS and/or Android).

Responsibilities

As a Staff Product Designer at Marqeta, you will craft embedded finance solutions for customers and cardholders, own a major product area and lead design execution end-to-end, define future visions for key products and drive cross-functional alignment to make them happen, provide strong design direction and assume responsibility for design quality in areas they oversee, communicate and collaborate regularly with Design and cross-functional leaders, proactively identify and remove friction or uncertainty, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and key stakeholders on all aspects of product strategy, design, and development.
