Expertise in lean six sigma methodologies, including DMAIC, Design of Experiments, and statistical analysis
Ability to analyze and solve problems from basic engineering principles to complex, advanced problems requiring innovative approaches

Understanding of the business needs of the company, customer needs, business cycle, and emerging technology trends
Ability to cultivate internal and external networks of resources
Experience leading project teams, determining goals and objectives

Responsibilities

Provide support to the Manufacturing organization to facilitate efficient operations, optimize existing processes, and ensure production goals are met
Monitor performance of equipment, machines, and tools; correct equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields, or quality issues
Interface with Quality and Research and Development organizations to integrate new products or processes into manufacturing
Lead technical activities for new or improved products or processes for current programs, next generation programs, and strategic goals
Present findings and recommendations to leadership
Utilize lean six sigma methodologies to identify process inputs/outputs and implement optimized processes
Incorporate business policies and procedures into task completion
Serve as a resource in the selection, orientation, and training of new engineers and employees
Lead project team(s) and determine goals and objectives for projects
Mentor employees by sharing technical expertise and providing feedback and guidance
Interact cross-functionally and with internal and external customers
Serve as a consultant for engineering or scientific interpretations and advice on significant matters
Act as a spokesperson to customers on business unit current and future capabilities
