Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of big data technologies. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including services like Databricks, Redshift, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and Spark is required. Proficiency in Python is also necessary, along with experience in data modeling and pipeline development.

Responsibilities

The Staff Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data across various projects and initiatives. They will also develop and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture using AWS native services, design and optimize data models on AWS Cloud, integrate and assemble large datasets, and process unstructured data for analysis. Furthermore, they will work with technology and engineering teams to integrate data processing and business objectives, monitor and optimize data performance, and maintain high standards of code quality.
