Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy & operations, GTM, marketplace operations, commercialization, new markets, or similar roles in high-growth tech, mobility, marketplace platforms, or regulated industries
  • Demonstrated ownership of P&Ls or key business lines, with a track record of improving profitability, ramping new markets, or scaling complex operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using AI tools to independently pull data, develop insights, and guide decisions
  • Experience driving Go-to-Market execution, including cross-functional readiness, feature rollouts, operational scaling, customer adoption strategies, and localized market activation
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders, synthesize ambiguous data, and convert insights into clear recommendations and aligned action plans
  • Experience navigating regulatory environments, government stakeholders, or compliance-heavy markets (mobility, transportation, gig economy, healthcare, aviation, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication and narrative-building skills, with the ability to advocate for city needs and articulate market realities across the enterprise
  • A builder’s mentality, with comfort operating in ambiguity, running pilots, iterating quickly, and creating new processes or playbooks from scratch
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership, especially with Product, Engineering, Operations, Policy/Legal, and GTM teams
  • BA/BS required in Business, Economics, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial performance, growth, and unit economics of Zoox’s service in key launch cities, with accountability for revenue, profitability, and city-level P&L health
  • Translate market intelligence into actionable strategies, serving as the executive “Voice of the Market” to guide Product, Engineering, Policy, and Service Operations toward decisions that unlock adoption and long-term marketplace health
  • Develop, test, and scale new monetization opportunities
  • Conduct deep diagnostic analysis of supply-demand balance, customer behavior, funnel performance, cost drivers, and service quality to identify and resolve barriers to growth
  • Build and operationalize repeatable city-level playbooks, ensuring standardized and data-backed decision-making across launch, stabilization, and growth phases
  • Collaborate tightly with Operations, GTM, Policy, and Safety teams to successfully navigate local regulatory constraints, permitting requirements, operational limits, and fleet availability challenges
  • Drive rapid experimentation, validating hypotheses through controlled pilots, marketplace interventions, and data-backed iteration loops
  • Influence senior leaders through compelling narratives, blending data, customer insights, and market context to shape company-wide commercialization strategy
