Responsibilities

  • Define and Develop Offerings: Identify unique opportunities for Carbon Direct in the power sector based on current and emerging client needs. Pinpoint potential high-value, high-impact consulting and product offerings for our clients. Utilize the knowledge gained through customer discovery to collaborate with technical leads to package and commercialize grid modeling, technology assessment, and related analytical services
  • Lead Commercial Strategy: Define and execute the go-to-market plan for Carbon Direct’s Power business across consulting and digital products, leveraging deep familiarity with customers and competitors. Demonstrate strong commercial judgment and a nuanced understanding of technical issues to inform market positioning and growth strategy
  • Client Leadership: Build and maintain senior relationships with key accounts; identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities. Translate complex technical concepts into clear commercial value for clients and stakeholders
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Own and expand a book of business with large tech clients, technology providers, utilities, and other power market participants. Stay on top of emerging opportunities, dynamically adapt offerings, and forecast client needs to outpace the competition
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Science teams to shape scalable, market-aligned solutions. Work closely with the Chief Innovation Officer to help build and align the technical team, while maintaining primary responsibility for commercial strategy and execution
