Requirements

Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering design and prototyping. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential, along with knowledge of manufacturing equipment and associated facilities, including electrical, plumbing, communications, and facilities systems. Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks, as well as experience with PDM and/or PLM software, is also needed.

Responsibilities

The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and optimizing systems for high-volume vacuum manufacturing equipment, prototyping and integrating new system functions to enhance existing equipment, managing multiple suppliers to construct parts and assemblies on time and within budget, and effectively communicating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. They will also take responsibility for whole projects, pulling in the talents of others when needed, and contributing to the overall design of robust manufacturing facilities including layout and material flow.
