  • Expert level proficiency in Figma (using advanced Auto Layout, Variants, and component nesting)
  • Thorough understanding of front-end implementation constraints, particularly React code library for 1:1 parity with Figma components
  • Experience in design systems, including component creation, governance, and maintaining quality/consistency
  • Ability to design and document intricate component interactions, usage guidelines (Do's and Don'ts), and accessibility
  • Skilled in quality assurance processes for testing component interactions and visual quality in both code and Figma
  • Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams (Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Quality Engineers, Development Teams)
  • Experience acting as a subject matter expert providing guidance to UX Designers

Responsibilities

  • Expertly build, maintain, and own the Figma design system library, ensuring components and patterns are reusable, accessible, and optimized for designer use
  • Ensure 1:1 parity between Figma design components and the corresponding React code library
  • Design and document intricate component interaction and usage guidelines (Do's and Don'ts) within the Asio platform
  • Lead the component quality assurance process by testing interaction and visual quality in both code and Figma
  • Act as a subject matter expert to UX Designers, providing guidance on auditing designs, identifying existing components, required variants, or necessary amendments
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define feasibility, review implementations, and facilitate UI unification across products
  • Operate as UX Owner for specific system initiatives within a multidisciplinary team to create seamless partner experiences
