  • Azure Integration: Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD)/Entra ID for user identities, Group Memberships, and Conditional Access policies
  • Software/Tools Proficiency: PSADT, IntuneWinAppUtil, Windows Installer/MSI, WiseScript, Flexera AdminStudio/InstallShield, Active Directory, and Intune/Marimba
  • Soft Skills: Strong Attention to Detail, excellent Collaboration skills with stakeholders (Application owners, Product Teams, etc.), and commitment to Continuous Learning
  • Ability to operate independently with a disciplined, accountable approach, requiring minimal direction

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of new and existing application automation packages and pipelines, primarily leveraging Microsoft Intune and scripting tools like PSADT and IntuneWinAppUtil
  • Develop packages that are tested, secure, and reliable to meet defined client deployment requirements
  • Deploy, update, and manage applications across devices, including application upgrades and uninstalls, ensuring an error-free removal that leaves the client system in a clean state
  • Design and oversee the functionality, usability, and accessibility of automated application deployments across the enterprise
  • Oversee/maintain documentation for all aspects of the automation process including collected requirements, pre-requisites, and testing results (install, upgrade, uninstall)
  • Drive fault isolation and resolution efforts for application deployment issues using Intune's reporting and analytics tools to address issues promptly
  • Research and suggest ways to optimize application automation solutions and delivery workflows, adhering to best practices and utilizing skills in Windows Autopilot, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Mobile Application Management (MAM)
  • Collect, understand, and evaluate application and hardware requirements, making configuration recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal owners and SMEs to plan and facilitate iterative User Acceptance Functionality testing, including application configuration settings, functionality, add-ins, and performance
  • Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, staying updated with Intune's evolving features and best practices
