This role is for a Senior Staff Product Manager, Firefox Productivity. The team's mission is to reinvent productivity within Firefox by blending AI, human-centered design, and a commitment to privacy and well-being. The goal is to transform how hundreds of millions of people browse, work, and create, helping them achieve goals faster, stay focused, and feel fulfilled.

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and promote a bold, differentiated productivity vision for Firefox that balances efficiency with user well-being.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with design, engineering, and data science teams to create, launch, and optimize user experiences.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Define success using both quantitative metrics (engagement, retention) and qualitative feedback to improve productivity and growth.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly communicate product roadmaps, feature benefits, and performance outcomes to stakeholders and partners.
  • Go-to-Market & Partnerships: Collaborate with marketing and business development teams on launch strategies, ecosystem partnerships, and messaging.
  • Smart Innovation: Utilize data and user insights to anticipate needs, minimize context-switching, and create proactive browser features.

Requirements

  • Extensive Product Management Experience: 7+ years of product management experience shipping consumer products, with a deep understanding of user needs.
  • Customer Focus: Deep empathy for user workflows and frustrations; experience with user research, synthesizing insights, and translating them into product solutions.
  • Outstanding Communication Skills: Ability to unite cross-functional teams, craft compelling narratives, and interact with external partners and communities.
  • First Principles Thinking: Strategic and analytical approach; comfortable creating multi-year roadmaps, defining objectives and key results (OKRs), and using data to validate hypotheses and advise on trade-offs.
  • Strategic Drive: Ability to work independently at a high velocity while aligning with the overall strategy.
  • Mission-Driven: Passion for open source, user privacy, and building products that benefit people.
