The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment is essential, along with the skill to meet commitments on time and produce high-quality, unit-tested software for continuous integration. Bonus points are awarded for contributions to the open-source community, existing exposure to Go, Scala, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, or Elasticsearch, and prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence.
The Sr. Software Engineer will lead backend engineering efforts for CrowdStrike products, from prototypes to large-scale applications. They will leverage and build cloud-based systems for detecting targeted attacks and automating cyber threat intelligence production globally. Responsibilities include collaborating with multiple teams to brainstorm and build solutions, championing new technologies to raise the team's technical IQ, and mentoring other developers.
