Requirements

Candidates must be US Citizens able to work domestically and attain a low-level security clearance. A Bachelor's degree is required, along with proven experience developing solutions within Genesys Cloud Services, particularly in IVR, chatbots, or voicebots. Strong understanding of conversational design, experience integrating Genesys with external systems, and knowledge of authentication mechanisms like OAuth, SSO, and SAML are essential. Familiarity with VA enterprise systems, APIs, and security policies is preferred. Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as JavaScript or Python is necessary, as are strong problem-solving and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

The Software Developer will develop and enhance the VA Voicebot within the Genesys Cloud platform, creating intuitive conversation flows and integrating them with other VA systems and data sources. This role involves implementing secure authentication processes, protecting sensitive data, and ensuring compliance with VA standards and federal security requirements. The developer will act as a Genesys subject matter expert, collaborating with other teams to ensure the Voicebot solution's high performance, scalability, and reliability.
