Requirements

Candidates should be a capable software engineer with experience in cloud infrastructure security, particularly with AWS, and familiarity with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Responsibilities

The Staff Infrastructure Security Software Engineer will be a key member of the Security Engineering Team, responsible for building robust protections around Quora’s products, infrastructure, and people. They will monitor and secure large-scale cloud environments, particularly with AWS, and build secure infrastructure-as-code pipelines. They will also develop and integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines, identify misconfigurations, and drive remediation processes, while advocating for secure coding practices. The role requires availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora’s coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific).
