Requirements

Candidates must possess 8+ years of software product development experience, with at least 5 years specifically in Ruby on Rails. Experience with Linux-based infrastructure and databases like Postgres is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience, is also required. Preferred qualifications include experience in the cybersecurity industry, working with external APIs (REST, OData, authZ/authN flows), familiarity with identity and resource security providers (m365, Okta, Google Workspaces), and knowledge of other data storage technologies (Redis, ElasticSearch, Mongo).

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end solutions primarily using Ruby on Rails, implementing efficient data pipelines to process large volumes of data. They will collaborate with security researchers to understand and combat hacking strategies, continuously improve solution quality through testing and code reviews, and build internal tooling for the SOC team. This role involves setting standards for excellence, developing efficient team processes, leading junior engineers on larger projects, and mentoring junior team members.
