Seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Security Engineer with a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud solutions. This role involves collaborating with teams to ensure best practices, troubleshoot issues, and automate processes within the Azure environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Azure Cloud Design & Implementation:
- Design and implement cloud solutions using Azure services, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- Write and maintain scripts for automation and deployment.
- Security & Compliance:
- Maintain and improve the security posture of the Azure platform.
- Define security controls and policies, manage access to data, and monitor alerts to ensure protection of data, apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks.
- Design access configurations within a cloud solution environment using defense-in-depth principles.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Oversee the process of identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
- Align business objectives to security and compliance requirements across multiple internal and external teams.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend security solutions that align with business needs.
- Collaboration & Support:
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure best practices in cloud architecture functions.
- High visibility collaboration with other key team members for optimum efficiency.
- Interface with multiple teams to identify, correct, and implement compensating controls within focus areas of the enterprise.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and infrastructure timely.
- Mentor and train other members on the team.
- Experience Utilization:
- Utilize 7+ years of experience in creating secure cloud environments.
- Utilize 3+ years in defending enterprise environments.
- Utilize 2+ years in threat modeling to guide decision-making processes.
Job Requirements
- Multiple years of experience or related work in a professional environment (5-7+ years).
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
- Experience with a variety of cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Expertise with industry-specific compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of emerging security trends and technologies.
- Strong background in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and network security groups.
- Deep knowledge of Azure services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
- Experience developing and maintaining cloud governance policies and strategies.
