Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Three plus years of work experience in utility construction
Experience with project scheduling and financial analysis, including financial accruals
Good verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
Input financial forecast data and provide analysis using software like SAP and Primavera P6
Create and maintain project schedules—define activities, work breakdown structures, predecessors, successors, resources, and baselines
Support project manager in preparation of business cases, contingency releases, and management of project budgets within established project governance rules
Develop, monitor, and update cash flow projections
Analyze and report on variances for project cost and schedule
Create and maintain Excel-like spreadsheets for reporting and analysis
Measure the progress of activities and milestones in project schedules
Assist with the execution and administration of contracts, process change orders, and validate and perform accruals
Support meetings or calls with project team members and stakeholders
Support project manager in holding team members accountable to action items
Prepare and present timely updates to project manager, analyst supervisor, and senior management
Keep all stakeholders informed of project developments through meeting minutes, action logs, and status reports
Support the project team in identifying, resolving, and tracking risks
Escalate risks and issues to find ways to keep projects on schedule and on budget
