Position Overview

  • Salary: $171.7K - $230K

Virta Health is dedicated to reversing Type 2 diabetes and obesity, addressing the shortcomings of current treatment approaches. By leveraging innovations in technology, personalized nutrition, and virtual care, Virta helps individuals achieve diabetes-free lives. The company has secured over $350 million in funding and partners with leading health plans, employers, and government organizations.

The Sr. Product Manager, Care Delivery will be instrumental in redesigning Virta's care delivery model. This role focuses on developing and scaling the workflows, tooling, and systems that enable Virta's care teams to provide high-quality care efficiently and at scale. You will collaborate closely with clinicians, coaches, and cross-functional teams to reimagine care orchestration across people, platforms, and data. This position is part of the newly unified Client & Care Group, ensuring that promised client outcomes are delivered through scalable, systematized care delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and roadmap for care team workflows and operational tooling, focusing on efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Co-create solutions with clinical stakeholders by mapping workflows, identifying pain points, and translating needs into scalable systems.
  • Redesign intervention delivery processes, considering cost, impact, and member experience.
  • Launch experiments (A/B tests, stepped wedge designs) to validate and iterate on new workflows and care models.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Data, Design, and Clinical Operations to build tools that reduce manual work, improve outcomes, and enhance gross margin.
  • Champion service design thinking to align care delivery with member and client experiences.
  • Establish and track key metrics related to clinical capacity, coach productivity, intervention efficiency, and care model effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or equivalent experience in healthcare delivery innovation, clinical operations, or healthcare technology.
  • Experience with service design, complex workflows, or care model redesign.
  • Proven ability to build systems rather than just features, with comfort designing across human and software boundaries.
  • Strong collaboration skills with clinicians, operators, and engineers.
  • Enthusiasm for driving measurable improvements in gross margin, coach capacity, and member outcomes through workflow and systems innovation.
  • A bias towards iteration and experimentation, with experience running lean pilots or A/B tests in complex environments.
  • Experience working with AI products to deliver care and efficiency.

Company Values

Virta's culture is driven by the following values:

  • People First: Prioritize self-care, peer support, and patient well-being.
  • Ownership & Empowerment: Take initiative and empower others.
  • Impact Driven: Focus on positive impact over busy work.
  • No Ego: Value contributions from everyone, regardless of experience.
  • Transparency: Promote trust and empowerment through open access to information.
  • Evidence-Based: Prioritize data and science.
  • Risk-Taking & Iteration: Embrace calculated risks and rapid iteration.
