Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with an advanced degree preferred. Proven experience as an NGS product specialist or similar role in healthcare/biotechnology is required, with microarray experience being a differential. A strong understanding of the Colombian and/or Central countries healthcare market and regulatory environment is necessary. Excellent communication, presentation, business, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and in a team. Proficiency in English is required, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is expected.

Responsibilities

The NGS Product Specialist will lead product adoption, share expertise, and support sales to achieve business goals in healthcare expansion. They will stay updated on NGS industry trends for Reproductive Health and Oncology, provide product training and technical support to sales teams and distributors, and collaborate with the commercial team on strategic sales plans. Responsibilities include assisting with sales presentations, customer demonstrations, addressing inquiries, analyzing competitor activities, advising on product positioning and marketing strategies, supporting market research, collaborating with marketing on promotions, building customer relationships, collecting feedback for product development, and representing the company at industry events.
