Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of product management experience in the life sciences or biotechnology sector, with a proven history of launching and managing complex products. A strong understanding of synthetic biology, DNA molecular biology techniques, market research, and competitor analysis is essential, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a passion for science are also required.

Responsibilities

This role involves owning the synthetic biology product portfolio, including strategy, roadmap, development, commercialization, pricing, and growth targets. Responsibilities include acting as a market expert by translating customer insights and trends into strategic moves, driving innovation by guiding R&D investment, and leading cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to commercial success. The Director will also champion the customer experience, manage product lifecycle and P&L, and build and mentor a high-performing product management team.
