Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of chemical or biotech manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of computer applications
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in cGMP environment, use of Delta V, and/or SAP (desirable)
  • Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshooting
  • Highly organized, excellent at multi-tasking, proactive, hardworking, and self-motivated
  • Ability to stand most of the shift, lift ~40lbs without assistance (including up stairs), move 55-gallon drums on wheeled dollies
  • Ability to wear necessary PPE and work in environmental conditions (loud noises, strong odors, hazardous/toxic materials)
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties within corporate EH&S Standards with emphasis on safety and quality
  • Operate various process equipment (reactors, pressure filters, pumps, filling, labeling, packaging) according to SOPs/UOPs in large-scale chemical batch manufacturing
  • Train new employees on SOPs and UOPs for unit operations like equipment changeovers and processes
  • Maintain batch and equipment records per ISO13485 standards and Good Documentation practices
  • Work with team on 5S and continuous improvement activities, including cleaning
  • Provide assistance to maintenance and distribution as needed
  • Perform basic office support activities
  • Demonstrate behaviors that build a positive culture and professional work environment
