Requirements

  • Full time MBA/PGDM in Marketing from Premier B-School (Master Degree in Science/Business Management)
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Desirable: Led Brand/Product Marketing at an all India level for a minimum 5 years with demonstrated success
  • Experience with Medical device/Pharma marketing and good understanding of local marketing nuances

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial performance of the business (revenue, units, market share, profitability)
  • Provide inputs for strategic and tactical planning, project management, product life cycle management, business analytics, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals
  • Develop and implement marketing promotion plans/programs for the country according to franchise plan and budget
  • Lead portfolio strategy and business development planning, including new product launches
  • Lead product launch and life cycle management in collaboration with sales leadership, local and global cross-functional stakeholders
  • Coach and develop Product Management role for team building and people development
  • Analyze competitor activities, customer needs, technology, infrastructure, therapy adoption, and implement campaigns to drive portfolio goals
  • Conceptualize and lead execution of marketing plans for portfolio(s) as per franchise goals and budgets; coordinate with internal functions, customers, external providers; monitor execution of programs/conferences/events/promotions; troubleshoot; ensure metrics for tracking success
  • Plan and implement product launches and product life cycle management
  • Monitor sales performance and effectiveness of marketing programs against goals
  • Work with cross-functional teams for product approvals, inventory planning, and product availability as per portfolio marketing plans
  • Conduct analysis of competitor activities, customer needs, etc., to assess market impact, guide local teams, report to regional/global team, and suggest modifications to marketing plans
  • Develop key marketing communications for portfolio; work with agencies and media for messaging and delivery; seek approvals; track effectiveness
  • Track brand/market performance, conduct root cause analysis, and develop action plans in collaboration with sales (including travel, campaigns, promotions)
  • Establish relationships with KOLs; identify key physician champions; develop support with sales representatives and management; ensure product messaging in symposiums and events
  • Conduct investigative research to assess brand image, market share, and growth opportunities
  • Provide effective support to sales team, including product and clinical messaging training
  • Enable cohesive Marketing function by transmitting organization’s values/vision, providing functional direction/resources, removing barriers, developing skills, articulating expectations, and driving performance
  • Ensure compliance of A&P and FOC processes as per auditable guidelines
