Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
15+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on manufacturing - with at least 7-10 years in a leadership role
Experience leading major SAP/ERP programs & initiatives
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, including MES & shopfloor technologies
Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with ITIL frameworks and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP)
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity principles
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strategic thinking and planning
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

Engage with business leaders to understand operational challenges and identify technology-driven solutions
Facilitate communication between IT teams and business units to ensure alignment of goals and priorities
Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, providing insights on emerging technologies and their potential impact
Develop and execute IT strategies tailored to the needs of manufacturing plants in the EMEA region
Plan and oversee system upgrades, process improvements, and technology roadmaps to support long-term business objectives
Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements within manufacturing IT systems
Develop a detailed roadmap for the SAP/system rollout/upgrades, including scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business goals
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Encourage collaboration and innovation within the team to address complex challenges
Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality IT services
Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance to meet organizational standards
Ensure IT systems comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity best practices
Implement measures to safeguard sensitive manufacturing data and systems
Develop strategies to identify tech debt & potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies
Oversee and manage IT operations, systems, and infrastructure to support manufacturing plants across the EMEA region
Align technology solutions with business objectives and act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders
