Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on manufacturing - with at least 7-10 years in a leadership role
  • Experience leading major SAP/ERP programs & initiatives
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, including MES & shopfloor technologies
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ITIL frameworks and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP)
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity principles
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Engage with business leaders to understand operational challenges and identify technology-driven solutions
  • Facilitate communication between IT teams and business units to ensure alignment of goals and priorities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business partners, providing insights on emerging technologies and their potential impact
  • Develop and execute IT strategies tailored to the needs of manufacturing plants in the EMEA region
  • Plan and oversee system upgrades, process improvements, and technology roadmaps to support long-term business objectives
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements within manufacturing IT systems
  • Develop a detailed roadmap for the SAP/system rollout/upgrades, including scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Encourage collaboration and innovation within the team to address complex challenges
  • Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality IT services
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance to meet organizational standards
  • Ensure IT systems comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Implement measures to safeguard sensitive manufacturing data and systems
  • Develop strategies to identify tech debt & potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies
  • Oversee and manage IT operations, systems, and infrastructure to support manufacturing plants across the EMEA region
  • Align technology solutions with business objectives and act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders
