Requirements

  • Ability to manage tasks, activities, and people supporting one or more therapeutic areas within the HIV business unit (potential people management responsibilities for up to 1-2 direct reports in the future)
  • Capability to manage projects of significant complexity requiring cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience leading development of data-based insights to inform brand, franchise, and business unit strategy and execution
  • Proficiency in performance/KPI development and reporting, including best practice sharing across therapeutic areas
  • Skills in collaborating with brand marketing leadership to establish annual business analytics plans
  • Expertise in leveraging data and analytics to develop key insights for brand strategy through processes like BPOA (Brand Plan of Action)
  • Ability to conduct analytics projects on business issues such as HCP and patient segmentation, customer journey and treatment flow analytics, sampling strategy and analytics
  • Competence in performance reporting and diagnostics, including design and implementation of HQ-facing dashboards and reports
  • Ability to evaluate potential new secondary data sources and analytics methodologies
  • Skills in integrating insights and analysis from various sources to deliver actionable brand opportunities and market context
  • Proficiency in providing objective quantitative analyses and developing business cases for key opportunities and critical business issues
  • Experience collaborating within the department to integrate business analytics into Tactic Measurement, Marketing Mix, and Forecasting
  • Ability to identify opportunities to integrate new capabilities from AI/Predictive Analytics Lab
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, interacting with internal customers from VP/executive directors of brand, marketing team, and IT
  • Ability to establish and maintain business relationships in key segments of the Commercial organization with thorough understanding of internal customers’ business needs

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of data-based insights to inform brand, franchise, and business unit strategy and execution
  • Oversee, set agenda, and provide support and guidance to the team in performance/KPI development and reporting, including best practice sharing across therapeutic areas
  • Collaborate with brand marketing leadership to establish an annual business analytics plan for each brand
  • Leverage data and analytics to develop key insights to inform each brand’s strategy through the BPOA (Brand Plan of Action) process
  • Conduct analytics projects to inform a range of business issues, including HCP and patient segmentation, customer journey and treatment flow analytics, sampling strategy and analytics
  • Handle performance reporting and diagnostics, including design and implementation of HQ-facing dashboards and reports
  • Evaluate potential new secondary data sources and analytics methodologies to elevate business analytics impact
  • Lead the integration of insights and analysis from various sources to inform material decisions through delivery of robust opportunities and market context
  • Consolidate a variety of data and information into actionable brand opportunities
  • Provide objective quantitative analyses and lead the development of business cases to determine key opportunities and address critical business issues for the brand and/or therapeutic area
  • Collaborate within the department to ensure business analytics context is integrated into Tactic Measurement and Marketing Mix work to inform Forecasting
  • Identify opportunities to integrate new capabilities from the AI/Predictive Analytics Lab
  • Interact with a broad range of internal customers ranging from VP, executive directors of brand, marketing team, and IT
  • Establish and maintain business relationships in key segments of the Commercial organization, demonstrating thorough understanding of internal customers’ business needs
