Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Preferred: 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Experience in Marketing, Consulting and strategic partnership development, payments experience preferred
  • Strong business & financial acumen, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Strong project management, planning, teamwork, relationship-building skills and experience in leading through influence
  • Experience in managing creative, experiential, media, and social/digital agency partners
  • Ability to generate and manage work-back timelines and navigate risks/obstacles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient on all Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Advanced level PowerPoint required
  • Ability to travel 5-10% of the time
  • Ability to work in an office setting, sit/stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate equipment

Responsibilities

  • Client consultation to uncover needed product and payment marketing opportunities
  • Development of holistic marketing plans to support client needs
  • Oversight of implementation of campaigns, events and sponsorship activations to ensure client satisfaction in the Regional segment
  • Leading the Marketing Activity for a portfolio of clients within the total Regional Marketing issuer segment (Regional Banks and Credit Unions)
  • Increasing Visa marketing revenue and demonstrating the value Visa Marketing brings to clients and cardholders
  • Partnering closely with Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) and sales organizations to deliver services from advisory to execution to sponsorships
