Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in a technical subject area
  • 10+ years working experience in sales with at least 5 years of sales management experience in a related product area
  • SEMI equipment vendor or related lab vendors working experience
  • Highly developed negotiation skills for customer interaction and closure of sales and other issues
  • Excellent, hard-working, clear interpersonal skills to a diverse audience
  • Systematic problem solving by working with customers and account team
  • Presentation skills and crafting materials for presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain deep customer relationships, credibility and trust
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (approximately 70%)

Responsibilities

  • Own all sales/account management responsibilities of specified Thermo Fisher Electron Microscopes products to all sites including resolving any issues
  • Implement China SEMI market strategy
  • Drive key business initiatives to build pipeline and bookings
  • Build a growth environment, in collaboration with Sales Development, Application and NanoPort team for the development of new strategies to increase market share in SEMI
  • Lead, develop, mentor and strengthen a team of highly skilled specialists to fulfill growth strategies; attract, engage, develop, and retain top talent
  • Maintain accurate quarterly booking forecasts
  • Understand all budget issues at each customer and take strategic action
  • Confirm all system configurations, specifications and acceptance conditions are appropriate for closing orders
  • Manage all User Group activity by product as required
  • Manage system demonstrations through application engineers and product marketing managers
  • Manage the sales booking process
  • Manage product issues in the field by working closely with the Account service group and application engineers for solutions
