Requirements

Above 6 years’ work experience in product design
Mechanical major with bachelor’s degree
Design experience of mechanical parts, familiar with 3D and 2D drawing software
Familiar with design criteria of mechanical parts and related manufacturing processes (plastic parts, stamping parts, PCBA)
Familiar with performance and manufacturing process of lithium battery pack, cell, BMS
Experience in product development, driving projects from design to mass production
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills, plus English reading and writing ability

Responsibilities

Work with cross-functional teams to qualify alternate battery cells, electronic modules, and other components-based battery packs, along with second source development for subcomponents
Provide ongoing technical platform support for existing battery products and implement design changes
Utilize lab test equipment (data collection equipment, power supply, electronic load) to conduct testing
Employ design of experiments and other scientific methods to develop/qualify processes
Lead investigations and root cause analysis resulting from manufacturing issues or post-sales feedback
