Requirements

  • Proficiency in Golang
  • Strong understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript, and other languages
  • Experience with database scripts for MySQL
  • Ability to write high-quality, highly scalable software
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with PHP
  • Proficiency in code review and corrective feedback
  • Strong documentation skills, including API Docs, Wiki Documentation
  • Experience with architecture of new systems
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with self-discipline and effective communication tools

Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain high-quality, highly scalable software
  • Support existing services in both Golang and PHP
  • Create microservices in Golang
  • Support database scripts for MySQL
  • Participate in code review process and accept corrective feedback
  • Document code for others to understand
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure service uptime requirements are met
  • Work on the architecture of new systems, understanding the problem space
  • Design and implement solutions to improve system architecture
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Scrum Masters, and other Engineers to build systems that people are delighted to use
