Requirements

  • Proven experience of 15 years with 8+ years of product management experience in financial services or FinTech
  • 5+ years in regulatory reporting or compliance systems
  • Proven track record in agile product development and Scrum methodology
  • Experience working with APAC financial markets and regulatory environment
  • Knowledge of reporting requirements (AML, KYC, IFRS, Basel III, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for regulatory reporting solutions across APAC markets
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and gaps
  • Collaborate with regional customers to understand local regulatory requirements and market dynamics
  • Develop cases for new features and product improvements, including return on investment analysis
  • Align product strategy with business goals and regulatory compliance mandates
  • Stay current with financial regulations across APAC jurisdictions (RBI, MAS, HKMA, APRA)
  • Ensure product features align with local and international regulatory standards
  • Work closely with customer teams to interpret regulatory requirements
  • Handle regulatory change impact assessments and implementation timelines
  • Supervise regulatory developments and proactively adapt product roadmap
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value and regulatory requirements
  • Own the BA team to write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams
  • Define sprint objectives and collaborate with Scrum Masters on sprint planning
  • Conduct regular backlog refinement sessions with engineering teams and ensure clear communication of requirements to development teams
  • Serve as primary liaison between business partners and development teams
  • Manage relationships with key clients and gather feedback on product performance
  • Present product updates and roadmaps to senior management and board members
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams on product positioning and go-to-market strategies
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams across multiple time zones
  • Analyze customer needs and market trends specific to APAC financial services
  • Conduct competitor analysis and benchmark against industry standards
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions
  • Identify new market opportunities and expansion possibilities
  • Supervise regulatory technology (RegTech) innovations and emerging trends
