Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 8 years of product management experience, preferably in B2B and with developer-focused products, and at least 6 years of leadership experience. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Experience building and growing infrastructure cloud services is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Director of Product Management will lead a team of product managers in developing and growing Confluent's flagship cloud product, Confluent Cloud Kafka. This role involves working closely with the VP of Product and other leaders to align the Cloud roadmap with company strategy, collaborating with customers and field teams to inform strategy, and coaching the Cloud Kafka product management team. Responsibilities also include close collaboration with engineering teams to prioritize customer needs, bring new Cloud features to market, and develop next-generation Kora capabilities.
