Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, along with 60 months of experience in job offered or other related systems / software engineering positions. Required experience includes deploying system and software engineering processes, training and coaching engineering V cycle development processes, and experience with ASPICE, ISO26262 (Functional Safety), and ISO21434 (Cybersecurity). Furthermore, candidates should be certified as ASPICE Provisional Assessor or above.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Development Process Engineer will apply systems and software experience to improve team proficiency in the BorgWarner engineering development process (Electronics Development Framework, ‘EDF’) to projects, serve as a change agent for the organizational transformation of electrified drive systems and software teams to achieve ASPICE compliance goals, analyze systems and software process deployments, identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions, lead project teams in evolving processes, methods, and tools, develop training curriculum for the EDF process for engineering, work with engineering teams to monitor performance of processes, create and maintain a quality dashboard to report project to organization, perform random checks of document accuracy of compliance for projects, and recommend process improvement to the Process, Methods, and Tools organization.
