Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Data Management, Knowledge Engineering or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with data management principles and metadata standards

Responsibilities

Assist in the organization and categorization of data assets within the data catalog
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of the data catalog, defining functionalities and ensuring alignment with overall data governance goals
Ensure the accuracy and consistency of metadata across all data entries
Promote data discoverability and machine readability to enhance data usability
Collaborate with data scientists, business stewards, and technical data stewards to ensure requirements are met for data catalog integration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve data catalog standards
Support the development and implementation of data catalog policies and procedures
Participate in training sessions to educate stakeholders on data catalog functionalities and best practices
