Responsibilities

  • Assist in the organization and categorization of data assets within the data catalog
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of the data catalog, defining functionalities and ensuring alignment with overall data governance goals
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of metadata across all data entries
  • Promote data discoverability and machine readability to enhance data usability
  • Collaborate with data scientists, business stewards, and technical data stewards to ensure requirements are met for data catalog integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve data catalog standards
  • Support the development and implementation of data catalog policies and procedures
  • Participate in training sessions to educate stakeholders on data catalog functionalities and best practices
