Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences
5+ years of Inside Sales experience
Experience within a biotechnology company
Experience with Next Generation Sequencing and Synthetic Biology
2+ years of People Management experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work with Salesforce.com and SalesLoft
Ability to travel up to 20%
Solid analytical skills
Ability to work cross-functionally to drive orders

Responsibilities

Lead and direct the Inside Sales Team to develop and manage lead generation, customer retention, and opportunities for outside sales team
Develop and turn opportunities into orders
Lead tactical and strategic inside sales activities
Ensure liaison with other departments and staff to coordinate activities, campaigns, and common goals
Provide regular reports on sales, market, and competitor activities
Set performance standards and provide ongoing feedback to employees
Assist high-value customer accounts to facilitate sales of Twist's products and services
Ensure accurate account/contact details are recorded in Twist's CRM database
Ensure customer satisfaction and continuously improve it
Provide guidance and career counseling to employees
Develop systems and tools to track optimal sales performance
Represent the company professionally, ethically, and morally
Help develop and coach the Inside Sales Team to identify and develop leads, convert leads to revenue, close sales, and achieve quarterly targets
Communicate and execute the business plan with the Inside Sales Team
Attend customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and other duties as assigned
