Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written formats, externally and internally
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as insurance policies, contractual requirements, agency workflows, marketing reports, and submission reports
  • Ability to author routine reports

Responsibilities

  • Participate in marketing strategy development and timeline creation
  • Prepare marketing submissions according to guidelines and communicate updates to underwriters and internal staff
  • Identify and leverage marketing resources including carrier direct appointments, wholesalers, and Acrisure resources
  • Identify and recommend additional lines of coverage or enhancements in coordination with the sales and service team
  • Negotiate with underwriters to obtain optimal coverage, pricing, and agency revenue
  • Prepare proposal of coverage options for the sales team
  • Prepare premium finance contracts and company financing as needed
  • Maintain effective communication with the internal team to ensure a successful marketing and submission process
  • Assist in the cross-sell and rounding out of accounts
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Consult with clients regarding their total cost of risk
  • Provide solutions and service recommendations to address client needs
  • Maintain complete and accurate client and policy information in agency management systems
  • Provide consistent feedback to department and executive leadership regarding carrier submission interactions
  • Provide mentorship and training to other team members
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
