Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices
  • Review customer and billing information in Salesforce/CPQ
  • Verify invoices include correct PO numbers, tax settings, and billing details
  • Apply customer payments and perform timely reconciliations
  • Manage collections by proactively following up on past-due invoices
  • Monitor AR aging reports and escalate issues as needed
  • Respond to customer billing, payment, and statement inquiries
  • Prepare and analyze monthly revenue reconciliations
  • Prepare and record monthly deferred revenue entries
  • Review and validate new customer contracts, SOWs, and renewals
  • Ensure Salesforce/CPQ data integrity
  • Support customer onboarding by ensuring contract and system data are complete
  • Participate in testing and validation of billing workflows during ERP implementation
  • Support the ERP implementation team by validating data mappings and configurations in NetSuite
  • Identify and lead improvements in the order-to-cash workflow
  • Train and support new Billing and AR staff
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and FP&A to ensure billing schedules and revenue recognition align with contract terms
  • Partner with Accounting and AP teams to support month-end close and cash flow forecasting
  • Support audit requests related to AR, billing, and revenue
  • Generate and maintain key reports including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), billing accuracy metrics, and contract data quality dashboards
