Senior Analyst, Enterprise Analytics

Position Overview

Cars Commerce is seeking a passionate, data-savvy Senior Analyst to join the growing Enterprise Analytics team. This role is crucial in fueling our mission of growth through data-driven insights and opportunity discovery. You will dive into data and analytics to uncover opportunities and support enterprise priorities across various business functions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust mix of technical, business, and communication skills, with a passion for optimization, data storytelling, and data visualization. You will collaborate with a centralized team of analysts and cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Data, and senior leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key influencer in the company’s strategic decisions and to learn and grow with our Enterprise Analytics team.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize internal and third-party data into actionable insights that inform enterprise priorities, including dealer experience, shopper behavior, marketing performance, and customer value delivery.
  • Clearly communicate recommendations to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating to achieve and measure project success.
  • Create compelling, intuitive stories and dashboards that lead to powerful insights and data-driven decisions.
  • Leverage technical tools (e.g., AWS Redshift, Amplitude, Tableau, Split, Python, and/or R) to analyze data.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in an analytics role with experience in digital analytics.
  • Experience with analyzing large datasets and deriving actionable business insights.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with digital analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Looker) are essential.
  • Experience with A/B testing is required, including strong A/B testing tool and design knowledge.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and modeling, and other technical tools such as R or Python is a plus.
