Requirements

  • Eagerness to learn and grow, with a strong desire to continuously improve through feedback, self-reflection, and exploration, and to develop or advance a career in technology sales
  • Proven track record of achieving at least 95% of annual quota and consistently meeting 90% of monthly targets in a quota-carrying role selling SaaS to nonprofits or B2B companies
  • Ability to self-source and successfully generate 50% of total deals through proactive efforts
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Expert product knowledge, demonstrating in-depth understanding of solutions and effectively communicating their value to build trust, drive higher win rates, and larger deals
  • Ideally 5+ years of software sales experience
  • Nice to have: Experience working with nonprofit organizations

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline that is approximately twice your sales quota, including building, qualifying, and overseeing it
  • Drive your pipeline by generating around 50% through proactive outbound efforts, including LinkedIn, calls, and emails
  • Own the entire sales process from discovery and product demos to negotiations, aiming to close a minimum of 35% of deals successfully (aligned with team average)
  • Lead in-depth evaluations, including comprehensive discovery calls, live product demonstrations, cross-functional collaboration to address technical needs, and detailed negotiations about Bloomerang’s software and services
  • Maintain forecast accuracy within 10% and effective pipeline management using Salesforce
  • Engage with the nonprofit community to build credibility as a trusted advisor, educating prospects on Bloomerang’s value and how it solves nonprofit challenges
  • Become a Bloomerang expert by gaining deep knowledge of all tools and services to effectively support and guide prospects
