Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A.) or above in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical, Medical & related subjects)
  • At least 2+ years of related relevant experience
  • Proficient in computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Able to work under pressure and in a high-efficiency environment
  • Good presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with customers
  • Good track record of successful sales experience in Chemical, life-science, and Pharmaceutical markets

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the sale of MS (mass spectrometry) products for protein and small molecule markets in the assigned sales area
  • Ensure MS products suitable for protein and small molecule markets are represented in the territory to achieve quarterly and annual targets
  • Develop and explore business opportunities in the territory
  • Prepare accurate quarterly and annual sales forecast reports
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers
  • Drive and initiate new business opportunities and referrals
  • Increase sales through active selling and tactical planning to maximize revenues
  • Organize meetings or communication channels to ensure effective communication across functional units
  • Collect and provide market information to marketing peers
  • Provide detailed technical explanations of MS products and applications for protein and small molecule markets at seminars and exhibitions
