Senior Account Executive

Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and high-achieving Senior Account Executive to join our extraordinary team and contribute to our mission of shaping the future of our industry. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving business growth by implementing sales strategies, exceeding revenue targets, fostering customer satisfaction, maintaining accurate forecasts, and collaborating with channel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing a sales pipeline to advance strategic transactions through the sales process.
  • Generating revenue by successfully selling the Cohesity solution and collaborating with a network of Channel Partners.
  • Penetrating accounts, engaging with decision-makers, and closing business.
  • Defining and implementing sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Developing and presenting proposals to customers that demonstrate the value and ability of the Cohesity hyper-converged infrastructure solution to meet their business objectives.
  • Driving account strategies and coordinating team selling efforts with partners to achieve quarterly and annual closing goals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role, proposing enterprise solutions to all levels of a customer organization.
  • Proven experience collaborating with customers and technology partners.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (primarily Excel), and other CRM tools.
  • Comfortable working with multiple decision-makers to drive proposals.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously.
  • Ability to travel as needed for the role.
  • Proven experience negotiating, proposing, and closing contracts with clients.
