ABOUT THE ROLE

Innocap’s Strategic Projects Office (“SPO”) is a newly formed centralized unit responsible for overseeing the selection and execution of projects that align with the company’s strategic goals. The SPO ensures that projects are executed efficiently, resources are allocated effectively, and strategic objectives are met. It acts as a bridge between the organization's strategic vision and project execution, providing governance, support, and oversight.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join the Talent and Culture team, who will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing large strategic projects. The Project Manager will also help further define the SPO’s scope and help manage the governance surrounding project management of strategic initiatives at Innocap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management, business owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Help estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Project Management Certifications are preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, ideally in the financial industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of professionalism and outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, thorough, and resourceful, with proven ability to stay organized, manage work in a timely manner, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
